Radio

I’m an experienced producer of live broadcasts, documentaries and features for the BBC, Apple Radio and more. Check out some examples below.

Beats 1

I worked on ‘Breaking Good with The Guardian’, a show on Apple Music’s Beats 1 dedicated to unearthing and discussing new music. I was studio producer on the project, created the show's imaging and put together the music mix.

BBC Radio 4

 I have made several documentaries for Radio 4 such as 'From Berkeley to the Bronx' about inventor of the drum machine Roger Linn. In June 2016 I made 'Black Flight and the new Suburbia' which looked at people from ethnic minorities moving away from the inner cities. 

BBC Radio 1

 In the ‘Radio One Stories’ strand I have made many documentaries on music and social affairs. In 2017 I made Falling Through The Cracks, a documentary which looked at the dramatic rise in the number of young people becoming homeless in the UK  

BBC Radio1Xtra

For 1Xtra I’ve made programmes on Hip Hop, Baseline, and UK Garage. In April 2013 I made ‘Is Grime a dirty word?’ which asked why so many Grime MC's have started to make pop music aimed at the top 10.

BBC Radio Asian Network

I've made Asian Network documentaries looking at the Desi music scene and also at social issues facing different generations of the Asian community.

BBC Radio 5Live

For 5 Live I’ve made documentaries and short features and have produced the investigative current affairs programme The 5 Live Report.

Diesel U Music Radio

I have produced radio programmes for brands - including World Rugby, Kolkata Knight Riders and Diesel - to appear on their on-line radio stations

 

For Diesel-U-Music radio I produced music shows presented by musicians including Franz Ferdinand, Kano, Hot Chip and 4 Tet.

Reprezent FM

At Reprezent FM, the South London based youth radio station, I taught accredited radio production courses to students and worked with Reprezent's presenters to create content around social campaigns.
