New Role as Creative Director at Forest Sounds
Independent award-winning production company, Forest has launched a sister company, Forest Sounds.
Following international success from its TV documentary titles and first narrative podcast Hometown: A Killing, the new company will focus on a premium factual podcast series, with cutting-edge journalism.
Currently in production on The Kanye Story (BBC Sounds) and a yet to be announced narrative series for another major podcast platform, both due to be released later this year, the new venture is headed up by award-winning Creative Director Pete Sale (The Messenger / Hot Money / Squid Scam).
One of Forest Sound’s first hires is Executive Producer, Susanne Reber. The former head of NPR’s investigative unit, Reber co-founded Reveal, the first investigative radio programme and podcast in the United States and is the Creator and Executive Producer of Verified.
